Co-owner of a gym with his wife, Michelle, Ian has worked in the fitness industry for over 30 years.
Husband and Dad of 2, he is a champion of strength being 7 British and 1 World titled Powerlifting Champion. BUT that wasn’t always the case…

Poor self-image and confidence in his 20-30’s, also struggling with being a father and balancing his career and home life led him to develop a program to help other Dads, Husbands and Sons create permanent, sustainable and life-changing transformations.

He challenges men to step up and take their health seriously! Helping men who are ashamed of their body and worried they won’t be around for their kids. To take back control and enjoy the fitness they once had, before they allowed the drudgery of life to take it away.

Together with her husband, Michelle co-owns a gym and working as a trainer during that time Michelle has seen the physical transformations strength training has had on her clients. However, it also highlighted a need for her to make a bigger impact in women’s lives. For this to happen she has decided to go down the coaching route and deliver a more comprehensive personal service to get women the lifestyle transformation they desire.

Michelle now coaches women through authentic, sustainable lifestyle changes giving them freedom and independence to play big and live life as they know deep down they desire.

Focusing on fat loss through strength training Michelle has a client centred approach and works with women through all the messiness that is life (a woman’s life in particular!).

Having competed in figure competitions Michelle knows the rigors of strict dieting and the backlash that can come with it in the form of binge eating. With 2 young children she works alongside her husband who coaches and mentors the men in our lives, and together they create Humphreys Coaching.

Starting the programme I was slightly apprehensive.  I’ve tried (and failed) in so many other plans… How on earth would I stick with something for 12 weeks?! However… I’m still here!

I love the fact when I wake up each morning the first thing I do is check my daily tasks. This stops it feeling overwhelming… The support from Michelle has been amazing, I consider myself a bit of a challenge with motivation around shift work. But her weekly calls have kept me in the zone and knowing she’s a text away if I have any questions has kept me focused.

Whilst I haven’t lost as much as I’d hoped I feel my understanding and relationship with food is way better than 3 months ago.
